I'm looking into purchasing some buildings, fences, earthworks, etc. for my 15mm ACW armies and would like to hear from anyone who has first-hand knowledge on the different manufacturers.

Currently, I'm considering Musket Miniatures' terrain, and would especially like to hear opinions on the overall quality of their terrain.

Musket Miniatures are nice stuff. Top quality in fact. You probably need to check out Battlefield Terrain Creations. Other manufacturers include Time Cast, Monday Knight Productions, Round Top Mountain, JR Miniatures. Also, you might want to consider using 10mm buildings as they also look fine with 15mm. YMMV though.

Hope this helps…

I'll second the recommendation for Musket Miniatures. Their terrain is first rate. I've used their fences and earthworks for years and across many periods.

Their buildings are also excellent. I've also used JR and Old Glory. The Old Glory buildings are 10mm, but they look pretty good with 15mm figures.

Best of the best for terrain (IMHO) is Battlefield Terrain Concepts:

The Flag Dude has some nice terrain as well, especially his crops.

Another recommendation for Battlefield Terrain Concepts.

Doug's items are first-rate, service is fantastic !

And check out his new 15mm roads !

Yet another vote for BTC.

Also check out Gettysburg Soldiers (www.gettysburgsoldiers.com) for outstanding painted 15mm figures and some very cool accessories.
