So it looks like Old Glory has a pretty decent sized range for this period. It also seems like Foundry has some figs that would work.

Anyone else out have any decent ranges in 28mm or things that would work in this range?

Those are the big two.

The Quatermaster (out of Canada?) had some good Indian heavy horse that work as Gochurra tribal cavalry for the Sikhs. I've got some mixed in with lighter tribal horse from Old Glory and some odds and sods from Foundry (and a stray Ral Partha Mahdist that snuck).

The Foundry range is one of their nicest IMHO. All the Indian irregulars that they call "Warriors" are from their old Sikh War range (as well as the ones called Sikhs, naturally.) The Old Glory figures I have seen far fewer of but they look very good too.

Old Glory and Foundry are about it but both are nice, compatible ranges. Minifigs used to have some and Eureka has a few Sikh regulars. Some of the Perry Carlist War British Legion figures are useful including the gunners, rocketeers, lancers and infntry in peaked forage caps and shell jackets,

I was thinking about using the BAL stuff from the Carlist wars for the Sikh Wars. I wasn't sure but they looked simliar. I already have a pretty good start on that side then.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I'm not sold on starting this period yet but it certainly seems to have a lot of promise and with the British force mostly well underway, it is nearly half done.

It is a very nice period with colorful armies. What rules are you considering?I have used "Black Powder" and "Flames in the Punjab".
