guys
i was looking through a box at home and came across a micro machine camouflaged rigid inflatable boat
my question does any one know if this model was based on an actual real rigid inflatable boat(what was it named) and who used this particular make of rib

There's about 120 different configurations of RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat). It's spoken 'rib' as in pork spare-ribs.

I've seen RHIBs with 1-3 outboard motors from about 50 to 225hp each, inboard diesels (or Chevy big-blocks), ranging in size from about 15 feet to almost 40 feet.

I admit, most of them were coastie orange inflatable parts, but the Navy RHIBs are usually solid black. The SWCC (crazy boat) guys might have a few that are camouflaged, though.

US Navy RHIBs tend to be dark grey or black. Other countries camo them. I've seen Kuwaiti ones painted in a blue/grey fractal color similar to US Navy working uniform.
