I have posted an entry on my blog describing my wargame group's quest for a set of ACW (and general Horse and Musket) rules for 28mm regimental level games. I briefly look at – They Couldn't Hit and Elephant, Black Powder, Rank and File, and Regimental Fire and Fury. The aim is to fight the same battle with some (or all) of these and to see which we enjoy the most. There are links in the blog to the scenario that we are planning to use and some other goodies that I have made. The blog is here -> link |

Sorry for dodgy cross-post to Ancients Scenarios – a bug I think |

We have decided on Rank and File for our games. After playing Black Powder we will probably add the C&C system in BP into R&F |

Rank and file with the ACW supplement? I'd like to know how they play. Also any thoughts of trying Guns at Gettysburg? |
