I had a customer (Piers Brand) post a few photos of our Paved Felt Road System. Very nice display game with excellent models/terrain: Our photo gallery: link Piers Brand's photos in situ: link E.H. |

Always a shame that an outfit based in Canada feels the need to price everything in US Dollars. Nice looking roads though. |

Why is it a shame? If the bulk of his sales are in US Dollars then it makes perfect sense. |

I just had a customer comment: "They look just like Iraqi highways!" I guess this would be another type of game to play! |

Hey Mike! That is actually the "Sulfur Fields" latex mat by Zuzzy! I painted it up in 3-color gray/white for an Arctic tundra look. That is the in-progress setup for the Millennium Con game I told you about a month or so ago (The one I am giving out the Rebel Minis 15mm Zombie at!) I hope to get my HAMR suits and Titan Marines painted up this weekend for it. |

Looking forward to seeing your stuff all painted Warlock. Your terrain layout looks great. The Hotz Roads are very nice as well. How well does the paint stick to the Zuzzy Mat? I have heard mixed things about them in regards to paint flaking off when the mat is rolled up. Thanks, Jeff |

It sticks great!! Here is what I did: I used Cheap Folkart Acrylic Paint from Wal-Mart. I cut it 2/3 paint to 1/3 water and got a bunch of cheap Foam brushes. Undercoat of Dark Gray splotched over all the "Low Spots" with a Medium brush. Dry brushed some differently textured rocky areas with a Medium Brown (Chestnut?) to simulate dead vegetation. Dry Brushed White (With a little Sky Blue Mixed in) over the high bits i wanted to look like accreted snow. Lastly went over all Gray areas with a Medium gray light drybrush (Including the Brown Areas)to even the tones a bit. Took about 3 hours from start to finish. Rolls up without flaking or cracking. Best Mat I've ever owned. |

Thanks Warlock. May have to look at them again if you have had such good luck. I love my Terrainguy mats, but the Zuzzy mats have always interested me. Jeff |
