That looks great. What time is your game?

Let me tell you, being one of the Widow Sharpes former husbands (the third, I think) I have always had a great time playing in Gregs 54mm ACW games!

These were some of the best games I have ever played in. The system is Gregs own rules "Red Badge of Courage" and are a lot of fun and easy to pick up on and get playing right away.

You can't go wrong choosing to play in one of Gregs games!

Just realized the game time is on your website:
S-120 – Last Train to Clarksville
Sat. 12 PM, 4 hrs, 10 players
GM: Greg Novak and Central Illinois Tabletop Warriers
American Civil War 54mm, Rules: Red Badge of Courage

Well we have the correct music playing in the background? I feel old now, I remember when that tune was on the radio.

I won't be at Historicon and have never played 54mm skirmish games but Greg, your terrain and your figures look FANTASTIC!!!

I see John P Jones is giving it a bit of air guitar -clearly an ancestor of the mighty Led Zeppelin bass man.

Ooh, where did you get the 54mm Saloon Ladies?
For that matter, where did you get all the ladies?
I'm having a difficult time locating any at all, let alone so many.

I love the terrain and paint, well done.

for me, 54mm is the only way to go. My Civil War History students really get involved in the subject when they can apply tactics to actual scenarios. The pieces can take a beating and still be used. In 20 years of wargaming in the classroom, I have had only one piece stolen and one piece eaten. Not bad.

The ladies are neat but can't use them at school, though they would definitely keep some of the guys interested.

I'm running a 54mm Civil war at Fall In on the 30th and 31st. I'd like to meet up with you and see your set up if possible. Thanks

The game went were great – will post more at a later date

I have been attending the Chicago Old Toy Soldier show for years picking up whatever I can find – as well as watching different companies notice boards – am not sure where the Flora and Fauna came from – but think it was an Old West line. Have picked up some of the new Britains Pettycoat Range – not all are actually ACW period but they will do –

Doubt I wiull be at Cold Wars – but will see

Greg

Many of the figures are off the shelf paint jobs -
