Being stuck in Dubai for a month on business, there isn't much in the way of wargaming. You can read about the little I've found (or not found) on my 'Dressing the Lines' blog: arteis.wordpress.com Thank goodneess for sun, sea and sand to help keep me amused whilst I'm away from my paints and figures! |

Dude you're in Dubai and you want to game? |

Your Minden figures are lovely. I am quite tempted to start a collection. If you go away on biz quite often you may want to knock up some solo gaming sets. You could put games together with 10mm, or 6mm, figures that fit into a small box. I am quite keen on playing Patrols in the Sudan, which may resonate with you, as you have so much sand around :-) If you don't mind me asking, what business are you doing? |

Not so much gaming, TableTop, as painting or just looking in model shops or chatting with fellow wargaming enthusiasts. But not all the time, mind
.! Chortle, I don't mind you asking at all. I am developing a road safety education programme for children, and training teachers to deliver it. And Terrement, yes, the shwarmas are excellent! |

Oddly enough, just after submitting the above, I leafed through a backcopy of "Time Out" magazine, and lo and behold, there is an ad for a Dubai Wargaming/Boardgaming meetup group! |

Arteis, stop by the Moscow Hotel or the York hotel. I hear they have many women there that would be willing to "game" for a price. lol But in gaming seriousness, if you find a group or location in Dubia, please post it on here. I travel through Dubia a couple times a year. Thanky |
