The pro & anti World Cup posts have made me wonder what is important in your life (yes, you! The rotund little gamer in the back row). OK: sport (specify) family relationships good food bad food (read 'fast food') cars other hobbies (are there any???) Just lie back & tell me

staying alive, healthy, fed, sheltered, on good terms with God, spousal support unit and family, thus enabling all of THAT to 'support' my gaming 'obsession'
gaming while 'dead' might not be as much 'fun'
(zombies excluded) In short, whatever else is required to be 'alive' to be ABLE to game
unless you're a zombie, then all bets are off as to priorities before gaming except for 'Braaaaaaainnnnzzzzz!'

Almost everything that involves my well being or my duty to my family. Gaming is a hobby – it balances with reading and such intellectual pursuits. Time fillers like watching TV are definitely far less important. |

Does "painting" count as an integral part of "gaming"
? The two are all part of the same hobby or me but if not, for the purposes of this poll, "painting" should be on there. |
ochoin deach | 25 Jun 2010 2:38 a.m. PST |
A lot of people in the hobby tend to categorize themselves as either "painter", "gamer" or "collector". Clearly there's overlap. |

.Maintaining the balance so that wargaming doesn't interfere with work, relationship(s) life etc and yet I can still do it whenever I feel like. |
