Does anyone have a link to printable LOTR banners of flags that works? Something akin to a Warflag type. I have Googled several sites, but not a single one works anymore. Thanks. |

If you want to invest in a book that has all of these in them, The Art of The Lord of the Rings has all of the various banners, and concept art, which will be highly useful in coming up with variants, as needed. |

There was a yahoo group dealing with LOTR gaming for a different rule system than GW that had a couple of nice banner sheets for Elves, Orcs, Rohan, etc. Sorry I can't remember the name of the group, but it might be a place to start. |

Gentlemen, Thank you for the tips. I have the Art of LOTR and all the GW books and publications, but was looking to download a printable version of several of the banners. I have tried the Yahoo groups but to no avail. I f you have a specific link I would love to have it. Thanks again |

Ditto that! I can NEVER have enough LotR stuff… Probably the first $25,000 (or more) that I get in disposable income will go to having sculptors like Tom Meier sculpt me a line of LotR minis (They probably won't "Official" be LotR, but they will be in everything but name). I'll do some searching on Yahoo to see if I can locate that group, as I am probably a member of it (I think I am a member of about every group I could find that has to do with LotR) |

Ok…swtiching periods AGAIN….but back to Mordor. I am painting up a crap load of Orcs to attack Osgilith…right now I am working on archer units. I want their banner to indicate that they are archers. I was thinking of painting 3 horizontal arrows…or maybe the eye of Sauron with an arrow beneath it. Hit me with your ideas. |
