Their site is down. Did they die off?

were they ever in the running?

I actually bought some 15mm Gunships and Landers. They had some Neo-Sov grav I was contemplating. Ah well.

Force XXI had some great models.

Their 6x6 APC, grav scout and GEV trucks come to mind immediately.

Not too long ago there really was not a lot of manufacturers into 15mm scifi. Force XXI did an excellent job of responding to customer needs and having and active presence on TMP.

They were back for awhile, but not sure of their status now.

He did come back but then I think he may have put things on hold, IIRC.

Yes, like Combat Wombat, the guy running Force XXI was on occasion off in the sandbox <SNIP>, so his schedule was pretty irregular; Sorry if that is DHable, but it is the truth.

Ah, good show then. if he is off serving, i hope all is well and he gets back and settled intact!

The guy really couldn't make up his mind what he wanted to do. Wait for CloudCaptain to see this topic.

I was under the impression that there were medical and personal reasons that the owner never really got this off the ground. I think he was former military, but not currently actively serving. In any case it is a loss, but this is a hobby business and if he does not think he can handle it, better to sign off than take orders you can't complete.

Jeff is pretty much spot on there. Had to get a refund on an order that was never filled…was told that goods would be sent anyway. Nothing materialized.

I've bought quite a few things from Mel at Fore XXI, I do beleave there were medical and personal reasons behind his
stuff being put on hold. He did have to go to the sand box for a bit but returned some time in 2009 (I think)after that is when the other issues happened. I have run accross a youtube vid of his Neo-Sov grav vehicles…says he is trying to open back up this summer?

Mel is an all around good guy who served his country in the desert and brought back some baggage.

I ordered a good amount of stuff from him – sometimes it took a while to receive, other times stuff arrived as if by rocket.

I hope he gets back into the business.
