I am trying to paint an Avro Vulcan in the gray and green camo. Can anyone recommend specific paint colors? I have access to most brands. Thanks, Al |

Does this sound about right? Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey for the upper surfaces and Extra Dark Sea Grey for the underside. |

Try this site link Gives you many different equivalencies, just remember the colors are BS 638 Dark Sea Grey, 641 Dark Green and 627 Light Grey. Scroll to the Bottom that has 1945 to present. |

What scale/size aircraft? I would try GW Fortress Grey with Vallejo Reflective Green if in a small scale like 1/600th. If you choose a grey to dark it will morph into the green IMHO. |

Thanks guys. I think Fat Wally hit my problem. Aircraft is 1/600. I painted the Vulcan but the color did not look right. I wouldnt describe the grey as morphing into green but it sure does not look right. Also I did not realize the underside was a different color. So much for my observational skills. |
