I don't know how or why exactly, but I am currently repainting a UNIMAX 1:48 scale Blackhawk helicopter and found that it some parts of the hull got warped. Today I noticed one of the bottom cockpit windows stick out because part of the front hull got bent inwards slightly. Anyone know what might have caused this? |

Hard to see how paint could make metal warp. |

No way is paint or a wash going to warp diecast metal, not even enamels. Could happen to the plastic pieces, though, depending on the paint and thinner you used in the wash. The warped plastic could have pulled the metal out of shape. |

Do you have anything around the house with teeth, like a dog or baby? One of those could have crushed it when you weren't looking
