Yeah, like Pictors, it's the stuff I DON'T buy that ends up bugging me
and costing me more when I eventually track it down. |

any THW rulebook. Whatever genre you game, they have a book that either covers it, or comes close enough to mod it. If you have lots of friends to game with, or no one around for miles the games will almost always be some of the most unexpected action you ever did see. No matter what figures are in your collection, you can find a use for them from one book or another (or on one of the many fan sites) |

Decent paint and brushes – but storage boxes were a good point, I hadn't considered those but, almost invariably, they have ended up as good value purchases. |

As Pictors and others have said, my only regrets in the hobby have been things I haven't bought that I later kick myself for not buying. Dragontooth minis, for example, and Epicast and Forge World resin pieces, as well as lots of licensed minis that are no longer available. |
Uesugi Kenshin | 01 May 2010 7:19 p.m. PST |
The entire hobby. Its basically kept me with one foot in the poverty grave for the last 24+ years of gaming, but Ive enjoyed all of it. With no children to worry about leaving my debt to, all I have to do is decide which of my 9 nieces/nephews get to have Uncle Danny's wierd books and toys! |
Tommy20 | 01 May 2010 7:24 p.m. PST |
I'm with Tod. Whenever I can't decide which genre to work on, I end up working on terrain, as it ends up being used for everything. |

I agree with RM. I can live without the minis, but not without my books. |
