Sure, not everyone is a fan of Osprey. Now thats covered, what Campaigns are sorely missing from Ospreys roster for this period?

The answer should be, "lots", but I appreciate any individual title suggestions!

I'll kick it off:
Balkan Wars, 1912-13 (a little early, but appropriate I think),
Tannenberg 1914,
Poland 1914 (incl. Battle of the Vistula River and Łódź),
Battles of the Masurian Lakes 1915,
The Brusilov Offensive 1916,
Battle of Kolubara (Serbia) 1914,
The Bergmann Offensive, Turkey 1914.

Thats pretty much it for me. I'm an Eastern Front/ Land Campaigns guy!

The Marne was just released. I agree about Tannenburg and the others.

Thanks John, didn't know it was available. I'm off to the bookshop tomorrow then!

No I'm not, it's not out until some time in May.
I Don't like the subtitle- "The French 'miracle' halts the Germans".
Why 'miracle' in inverted commas? Kind of sets the stall out for the author's views. Inside the book, fine. On the title it looks cheap and sensational.

Arras 1917
Passchandaele 1917
The Nivelle Offensive 1917
Breaking the Hindenburg Line 1918
The Balkans September-November 1918
I see Messines is coming later this year. I'm looking forward to that. And got the Marne pre-ordered – long overdue.

Good suggestions. Thanks.

I have taken the liberty of emailing some of the above suggestions to Osprey. Feel free to do same ;-)

hee-hee.

The Meuse-Argonne Offensive. The AEF sustained over 120,000 casualties in a 6-week campaign that is largely forgotten in the U.S.
