If i was to go down the 15mm route what could i use as Chinese and North Koreans? Would some WW2 Soviets fit the bill? |

I got my Korean War Chinese from Old Glory 15s. They have some in their quality castings range: link Nice figs. I use my soviet armor with mine for the most part. Korean War isn't something that I'm that into but for the price of a few bags of infantry and some American tanks I figured a new period might be fun to game once in a while. |

Excellent
thank you Pictors
.any piccies of the figures? So I am gathering WW2 Americans will do? |

I use WWII Americans. I'm sure there are some inaccuracies but in 15mm and for a, basically, free period I'm not that concerned. |

QRF also have a Korean war range. See post war US, and Koreans link Infantry are 8 figures or two heavy weaposn per pack. |

For the US, the only real difference from WW2 is the infantry used the 3.5" bazooka after July, 1950, (irrelevent in 15mm)and they had a 57mm recoiless rifle at company level and the 75mm at battalion level. Both are available from OG in the Quality Casting line. WW2 Russians without helmets will work for NK's. Neither the NK or Chinese used helmets. |

Your best bet at the moment is the former Quality Castings line offered by 19th Century Miniatures, and the lines by QRF for NKPA, ROK, USA and PRC. The communists from 19th Century are compatible with QRF, althought the QRF are larger and more robust. The GREAT news is that Khurasan is stealthily working on a range for the Korean War, believe it or not (they were anyway). The QRF Americans are in winter garb. They look rough but paint up very nicely. Rules are an issue, but I am pretty happy with Cold War Commander. |

This is the war i thought would be the next stop for battlefront since it seems they were going with the proxy wars during the cold war era. but oh well does anyone know a nice set of rules to use for these? |
