Is this cool, or what? If only they were small enough for gaming: picture link link link link link I don't know who he is, or where he is located, but someone needs to track down and contract that guy, and get him to make proper-sized wargaming miniatures!!! If he can do all that with Sculpey, imagine what he could accomplish with GreenStuff or other epoxy putties. Dan TMP link |

Yep, CC, you are deputised to get a hold of this guy and pass on the word – I am sure Jon at GZG and Khurasan to name but two will hire him on a casual basis. |

That's all with Sculpey? Impressive, especially for the bug legs. The must be in metal. Steve Cavalcade Wargames cavalcadewargames.com |

I had emailed bugmaker last year, he is not that interested in 28mm
too small. So I suspect that 15mm would be right out. He makes good money with larger scale sculptures of trilobites and beetles. |

"you are deputised to get a hold of this guy and pass on the word" Me? Nah. I seem to initiate contact for things and then someone else drops the ball, or something weird happens, and everyone loses or gets disappointed after a lot of anticipation and excitement. TMP link TMP link Nope. Not doing it this time. :) Dan |

Guys, couldn't he do some "giant-sized" 28mm 'orrible beatsties IMHO that while monstrous for 28mm, would fit his lower size end of the spectrum he is comfortable with doing? Win/win if he agrees methinks

Hey dudes! Glad to see your intense interest in my sculpts. My skills are transferable to other mediums, and I'd love to make some contacts in the gaming biz. Thanks for instilling confidence. Your comments are all appreciated. link |

Bugmaker: It looks like your work so far has all been one-off custom jobs for your own amusement or for sale through etsy? Or have you been casting these and selling them en masse? Regardless, I'll be amazed if some figure manufacturer doesn't offer you a sculpting gig. Great work, very inspirational. |
Bugmaker | 19 Apr 2010 2:14 p.m. PST |
Unfortunately I worked for about 9 years without documenting my pieces, many of which went to private collections, or were made for educators. Some of my stuff has been used for props. I do some casting, and I'm working on creature designs for sci-fi right now, though I'm still looking for a big break into the biz. |

I don't know how to work that facebook thing, but Bugmaker drop me an email and we can talk about some fun pieces I'm interested in making for my planet Sepilveda 7 world -- it's a planet where most of the indigenous life forms are crustaceans so right up your alley. khurasanminiatures@yahoo.com |

Welcome to TMP, Bugmaker! And good luck breaking into the gaming miniature business – I would love to have some of your disgusting critters available to eat complacent characters in our RPG games. |

Bugmaker, 28mmMan and I have been admiring your work for some time now. I may not be the most loved person here, but I know talent when I see it. So I really hope that Khurasan and other manufacturers here can make an honest wargaming sculptor out of you!!! :) Dan |

and just ignore the other ones, it is easier that way :) |
