Stuff like this: picture link picture C'mon. You know that space colonists will adopt cute little alien critters as "pets" if they discover life out there. And Greys and other aliens are not going to travel here without bringing their pets with them. Thanks. Dan |

Maybe pick up some of the 6mm Tyranids or the Bloodworms/Centaurs from Baccus's 'Command Horizon' line. |

Look at the 6mm ranges dinosaurs picture fantasy creatures picture (tree man) picture (Demon) with non standard paint jobs they can easily become pets for your 15mm space colonists. (the above pictures are Irregular minis but a look through most 6mm ranges will give candidates.) x42 |

"6mm Tyranids" Q: Actual GW Tyranids? In production? Dan |

Q: Actual GW Tyranids? In production? I don't think they are in production but I have a spare sprue of them if you want. A lot of tiny weapons to clip of if wanted for pets but they could do. x42 |

GW did Epic scale Tyranids in plastic some years ago, I would imagine they are still available here and there. |

Ah now Brigade Models do the cutest wee menacing 6mm bugs imaginable! Also, GZG do great little 6mm Starship Troopers movie style arachnid bugs too. Quite podgy little chaps. I suppose you could add into the scenario that they are usually very placid and affectionate, but under periods of deep stress (or during mating season, whatever) they have the unfortunate tendency to run around snipping random limbs off passers-by with their mandibles
But aye, maybe you should have a nosey at brigade and Ground Zero. |

While the examples by Reaper are rather large, there are two sets of Familiars done by Iron Wind Metals that would still be mostly smaller than 15mm humans. |

How about some of the 15mm aliens from the Battlestations line??? scroll towards the bottom!!! link |

You just know that some little old lady is going to have at least one of these named "Wuffles": link Probably about twice the size of a St. Bernard in 15mm, which just sort of adds to the effect. Anyone make an appropriate mini for "Lummie", aka Heinlein's "The Star Beast"? |
Cacique Caribe | 15 Apr 2010 11:02 p.m. PST |
That would be a bit bigger than I hoped. Thanks though. Dan |

Tribbles. Easy to make at home, in any scale, and easy to paint too. Just don't feed them! |

Those little mouthy things Zombiesmith makes, though "pet" might be stretching it a bit. |

6mm Dark Realm Miniatures Skyth maybe? The Claw Beasts are a bit big, but the rest of them would make fairly good buggy pets. |

i vote the cynoraptors i just looked at our smallest alientype that would work link but these are based on a 15mm base and #3 is 13mm tall so they are a big bit next ot a 15mm figure!
