It's that time of year again. HMGS-South is running another Spring convention in lovely Cocoa Bch. Fl. April 29-May 2, 2010. Last years event was great with tons of great games, good friends, and big fun. The hotel (International Palms Resort & Conference Center)is literally on the beach with plenty for the family to do and places to eat. Come visit the Space Coast. Will you be there???? I will be there running a game of Werewolf for the kids and adults. My wife will be running the board game room, and my father will be running an "Age of Sail" game. Should be fun. |

Great post, Jeff! All the King's Men will be there running 54mm demo games in the horse-and-musket era. This time War of 1812 rather than AWI! We'll have both lines on hand, plus terrain and accessories. Ken Cliffe |

I'll be there with the new 28mm modern and 20mm Road Warriors mini's. And Phil Tortorici (The Warden) will be running 2 Death Race Games. And if the printer comes through we should have the Road Rage Rules to go with the Road Tile sets from Scrying Eye Games. |

Will be running our Saturday morning Rapid Fire game with the "green shirt" mafia as usual. Looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, playing in some amazing games and spending a bit too much money with the vendors. Dont think we can beat Hurricon at same venue for extras though. Being able to walk out the back of the hotel to the beach and watching a Delta rocket with comm satellite launched out of the Cape is hard to top! |

I just picked up a new line of terrain. In 25-28mm the company has five types of ruins, entrenchments, barrels, crates, both open and closed, bottles, books, bookcases, sand bags, grain bags open and closed, a oil pipeline set, dragonteeth. I did NOT get the Roman ruins or the Mayan Temple. In 15mm there are bunkers, entrenchments, dragonteeth, hedgehogs. All packs are $10 USD or less with many of the accessory packs at $5 USD or less. The sets were a little more. The Items that I saw are made from quality resin. In most cases I only got one or two of each type, since this was a new company. Great looking stuff that I plan to take to Nashville, Bayou wars and Rapier if I can make it. plus later shows. . |

Our Special Guest Richard Borg has two sessions scheduled featuring the new Napoleonic game: Commands & Colors: Napoleonics Demo
Session 2 (Fri 2pm-6pm) Commands & Colors: Napoleonics by design is not overly complex. The game system features Command cards that drive movement and the battle dice resolve combat quickly. Battles play in about an hour and a series of battles will be feature during the Session. Golymin – 26 December 1806
Session 5 (Sat 2pm-6pm) A Commands & Colors: Napoleonics historical battle. French attack on an outnumbered Russian force which must either choose to stand and fight or escape. The battle will be fought at least twice during the session. |
