Which white paint do you find to work best? (Not including primer or spray paint) |

P3. The stuff is amazing. One coat over black. It's a very bright white as well. |

Cel Vinyl, one coat over black and you get a lot more for the money. |

I use titanium white artist acrylics. Mainly because titanium white will not yellow over time

I really like Vallejo for it's consistency! |

Hi Bill, Here is my 2pence worth
. I prefer Vallejo paints Skull White (1), but have recently come across a second Vallejo white called Dead White (72001) which I find covers better. I came across it by accident but will now try to use Dead White rather than Skull White in future. I also use tube acrylic White – Reeves Acrylic Titanium White and very recently Liquitex tube acrylic Titanium White, both of these come out of the tubes a little thick and so I dilute them with either GW Skull White or Vallejo Skull White rather than use water of acrylic medium. If you want a good strong and pure white I would suggest that you undercoat the white areas with pale Grey – there are many available to choose from. I hope that this helps. Skull White by GW works for me. I can't say it is the best. I found it covers well over black so I never had a reason to look elsewhere. John |

Vallejo 'cos its super smooth. Humbrol acrylic as its hard wearing. I paint on white undercoat so the covering black thing isn't an issue for me. |

I use either Cel Vinyl or Liquitex Soft Body Artist's Acrylics; both have excellent opacity, are easy to work with, and are far less expensive than hobby paints. -- Hans |

I like the Andrea whites from the white paint set they sell. I'm also considering trying enamel white to see how it does. Haven't used them in decades (i.e. before I started priming my figures in black or grey). |
