The other night I posted a thread with a lot of pictures of the new Mk.I HAMR battlesuits from Rebel Minis that I had painted and promised to provide some size comparison pictures of the suits with other vehicles. I planned a larger variety of vehicles, but time and lack of sleep limited my selection. You will find various Rebel vehicles (Merka 5 tank and Dropship), along with a selection of Old Crow and Critical Mass miniatures. I know they are near impossible to get anymore, but I also included pictures of the suits with some of the old 1/87 Heavy Gears that RAFM produced for DP9. The current Heavy Gears are 1/144 and stand about the size of a 28mm Space Marine, while these old 1/87 scale bad boys are hulking hunks of metal. I hope the pictures help you all with the size of the HAMR versus items you may already have in your collection. You know JBR, it's very interesting how many items in those pictures were your skillful creations! Looking to more of your fine work in the future. Jeff |

Thanks for sharing! I was wondering how big those Critical Mass mechs are. |

Nice work all around-John, those are some great sculpts. And, Jeff, your brushwork and camera work really brings out the best in them. It's really ironic that you would post comparison pics with those RAFM Heavy Gears when you did. I was at that very moment raining down curses on my own RAFM Gears as the result of an inking gone awry. Jason |
