Quick lace question.

The trefoil lace on the cuff. Assuming a non-royal English or Welsh regiment (white facings), what color is the tape? Still white as it would be on royal, Scots or Irish regiments? Or another color?

It's always white.

That was kind of what I was thinking they had done, but sometimes you just don't want to go with that gut feeling.

I've finally gotten around to starting the paint on my Empress Miniatures British. Lovely figures. I hope my brush will do them some justice.
