I'm a Shropshire lad by birth! Been up here since '87 on and off so it's home now!

Cheers for all the comments!

Really nice paintjob mate, just the right amount of detail!

As a 28mm fan, I am impressed. Your detail looks good at any scale.

Well done!

Nice battle groups.

You might want to contrast more your painting, it is too close for this scale and is lost on the eye well before the gaming distance.

helmet101, you may have a point. I may up the contrast a little on the next batch. I'm not too bothered about the gaming distance view as long as I know they look good to me!

Hopefully it won't be as long 'til the next bases!

Here is what I mean by exaggerating the contrast. If you click on some of the pictures, you will have a view of the highlight difference:

Thanks for that. I see what you mean now. I'm not sure I want that amount of contrast but I'm going to try it as it's going to be one of those things that I'm not going to know if I like until I actually see it!

I bought some 15mm AWI figures on eBay a while back and was sent close-up photos. The style/contrast was very similar and in the large images it just didn't look right but when I had the figures in my hands they looked bloody good! :)

Cheers

Andy
