Wow, how big is that table! Inspector Gadget arms needed if figure movement is on the agenda. Thanks for the links. |

That is a massive table! It would be a long game indeed! Thanks for posting Armand. |

Most impressive. Quite detailed, right down to the thunder pole! |

Okay, I have to ask now – who makes those thunder pole figures – or what make conversions are they? |

They are certainly most unusual for a layout, but very unique! |

"Some plastic ACW at 25mm" "the ACW in 1/72mm scale." Generally, 1/72 is regarded as nearer 20mm than 25mm, although it does depend on the manufacturer. |

"Okay, I have to ask now – who makes those thunder pole figures – or what make conversions are they?" Presumably, Strelets. |

Wow. But the 3,000th fig from the left in front. His belt buckle appears incorrect for July 1863. (Just kidding!) That battlefield is to dream of, but how do you move the figs? |

Since this is being posted under the Dioramas messages board (as well as ACW), I assume this is not a game but a static diorama. |

>Generally, 1/72 is regarded as nearer 20mm than 25mm, although it does depend on the manufacturer. Most current figures run 23mm to 25mm according to Plastic Soldier Review. |

"Most current figures run 23mm to 25mm according to Plastic Soldier Review." Yeah, but put one next to a metal "25mm" figure and you'll see what I mean

So happy you enjoy them!!. Some answers. Mostly of the figures are plastic 1/72mm but there are some of 25mm. There are not Strelets figures only. There are many other manufacturers there. The problem Uwe had (as myself) is that on the forum Co if you didn't show ONLY their product, your pic cannot be put there. For example, in Hat forum you cannot show Italeri or Strelets if they are equal or more than Hat ones. Strelets show more contemplative in this matter. I had personaly post some of my units but as I played 1 to 1 it's very difficult to made a batalion of 400 or more with only one manufacturer poses. Sadly, I had dozens of pics of my big annual battles but not on those manufacturers forums. There are A LOT of convertions there too. The base of the idea was a big Diorama, but at the end they decided to play the game because they need the place to another big one work. The Union won. You had to wait an see the ACTUAL diorama that Uwe and his friends are doing on!. It's WAGRAM
Thanks for your comments. Amicalement Armand |

A true 25mm wouldn't be a problem but you're right, those aren't that common. |

Very nice to look at, gives a good idea of actual scales, BUT how in the heck can you play that set up as a game?? That would be almost as interesting a post as seeing the diorama!! |

Dear Mr. Docdennis1968, for what I know, the "game" was realized by no less than a dozen of players and it tooks MONTHS to finished. Unfortunally there are no photos of it. Amicalement Armand |
