Anyone familiar with this upcoming release? factionwars.co.uk/Gallery Clearly a set of rules where you substitute your own minis for each faction; hence GW Space Marines and Pig Iron in same page! Rules mechanism sounds straightforward; mix of IGO-UGO and infinity style AROs? The rules aside I really like the terrain in these pics!! Release date of 1st April is disconcerting though

I think that Release date says it all, as all of the figures are GW Figures that have been only slightly modded. |

lol Maybe we should have chosen a different launch date? You're not the first person to mention it. (And I admit that the web site needs updating with some fresh pics – I promise to get that sorted soon) ~darryl |

Anyone playing this? Seems to lack "buzz" which is sad as I like to see generic rulesets that don't force you to use 'their' miniatures succeed. Looking out for 28mm sci fi stuff as: -Infinity is awesome but too demanding for terrain -AE: Bounty somehow lacks the zing of AE: WWII -Urban War/Rezolution adhere to their own, rather ugly mini line -TW is more platoon scale (and also lacks something compared to FoF) How does this line up compared to the above? I see Wargame guru has a review out link There seems no negatives but no real reason to race out and buy it either
