Does anyone make 25/28mm minis that could be serviceable as these?

Cloaks are not necessary, as I could sculpt them on, but they would be nice.
Steeds aren't necessary either, but once again, bonus points if someone makes them.

God, if someone made a range of not-Nausicaa minis, I'd blow a gasket, sell a kid and buy a boatload of the ENTIRE range!

I have every injection-molded model kit from the series as it is…

They're 15mm rather than 25/28mm, but the Rebel Miniatures Titan Marines certainly might work for Empire troops, Garand:

Being a Miyazaki fan, I have to agree with Battle Work Studios, the Titan Marines from Rebel Minis have a look that is very in keeping with many of the soldiers in his works. They have a mix of German and Japanese inspiration that works well.

I converted a few figures for Nausicaa in the past, but I have no idea where they went too . . . .

I did a few kasrkin as Doroks a while back:

but the metal stops me from doing massive conversion work for these guys. Perhaps I should put something up on Wargames Factory.

idea submitted…awaiting confirmation

those Titan Marines look cool, but I can't find anyone to play 15mm around here.

JRacel20 Mar 2010 7:05 p.m. PST

Sorry Dundan, I completely missed the 25/28mm comment . . . .

It's cool, they're good for future reference anyhoo. BTW, those are the same ones Gear Krieg is now using for the Japanese super soldiers, aren't they?

Reaper actually made an axebeak. NO rider, but looked to me to be lifted straight from Nausicaa.

I used the Mage KNight Desert Warbird, and then the old Warzone plastics for my not Torumekian army. I little putty here and there. Came out decent.

I lost most of my work on these, but here is the little I have left from my Tormekian conversions:

*digs up old thread*

I just found some models the other day that could work! Parroom Station's VSF troops:

I plan on using the Legion Extraterrestriale for some Doroks.

That could work, Dunadan! Cool idea.
