Ok
let me 'splain
I want to find a figure that looks like 'Chris' (Yul Brunner) from 'Magnificent 7' and a 'regular' Samurai (Ghi?) with sandals
NO 'armor'
just the two 'swords and hair in ponytail/bob? at top, like from '7 Samurai' movie
(which was inspiration for Magnificent 7 movie)
I've looked at Reaper's cowboys and samurai
and orientals have too much armor, etc
and 'Chris' from Mag 7 just had black shirt, hat, jeans, boots and gunbelt..same outfit for sequel and also Westworld/FutureWorld movies!!! Can anyone 'help' with suggestions? Slishfully, Sgt DWW-btod (a Wyatt Earp in black outfit as seen in 1957 Burt Lancaster flick would be nice as alternate too) |

Do You mean You want a bald cowboy? I would find a bald head and swap it with the cowboy. For Samurai Perry or West Wind should have what You need. |

I picked up a set of the heroes from Seven Samurai. It has been quite a while (and they are not yet painted), but I think I got them from 1st Corp. Kingsford also has a very nice line of Samurai. I picked up a couple at the Cavalcade booth at CW. The heroes pack had a couple of non armoured traveling types (one with a baby cart (of death). Not sure about cowboys though. |

I'm looking for the 'basic' Samuri figure
(john belushi type from SNL? a 'bathrobe' outfit Ghi? and sword) and Yul Brunner's character was 'bald' other than his hat
but he didn't take his hat off, (much) during the movie as I recall??? But he wore boots, pants, shirt, hat
all black and had a gun/holster
very BASIC
no 'vest' or other stuff like some of the cowboy sculpts have
IF nothing else, I can always find a Bronze Age 'generic' 32mm male blank in the 'pose' I want for each figure and 'green' on the outfit
Reaper's got hats and weapons

Dixon's ronin line of Samurai figures are unarmored with bathrobe type atire. I have quite a few.. but I agree. The Kamishimo and baggy Hakama pants look great for an unarmored Samurai or Ronin looking for trouble as were to be found in the Seven Samurai or Magnificent Seven. |

Dances you're doing this all wrong. Do Red Sun instead imdb.com/title/tt0067770 Charles Bronson Toshirô Mifune Ursula Andress Great movie. All the Samurai and western genre rolled into one. |
