I hate links like that, I just can't help looking. Especially as it's possible that some distant relatives were murdered in the Holocaust.

My grandparents were survivors of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Everyone else and all their property is gone.

Damned hard to watch.

As far as I know I didn't lose any relatives in the Holocaust. My Jewish ancestors (maternal g-g-g grandmother) left Germany for America in 1848. Then again, I'm afraid to look.

We may never see something so widespread and systematic again, however it has occured again in Rwanda, and a case could be argued for Darfur as well.
