The wife is looking for a female halfling mini for D&D. We have seen one or two at Reaper that might work but looking for other thoughts. She is looking for one in armor (running a pally) and for the tough part she would love it on a dino (raptor look for best). Not demanding is she? :) |

Check out Mega-Minis. They have a lot of 25mm stuff, including very nice figures formerly owned by Grenadier that would make good halflings in the 28mm scale so popular now. |

A long time ago Ral Partha produced a series of Elf Quest figures. I never read the comic, but I did pick up one of the boxed sets of characters because the miniatures looked nice. The elves were small and slender compared to the 25mm figures we played D&D with, and I used them as halflings. Ral Partha made a box of wolfriders in this series, with the elves cast separately from the wolves, as I recall. So
maybe you could work out a raptor rider. I never had that set, though, and my google-foo has not produced a good picture. There is a box on eBay at the moment, but you can't tell much from the figures. auction They won't be armored, though. |
