1)Can anyone recommend cannon from a particular manufacturer that are best examples for SYW at the 28 to 30mm scale. From paintings it seems that wheels need to come up to at least the shoulders of the figures ? I am looking to outfit with cannon in the range from battalion guns up to 24 lbs.
In particular for British and Hanoverian units.
2)I note that some manufacturers produce with smooth wheels and some with reinforced wheels. By the SYW period do you know if all/most cannon had gone over to smooth wheels or would there have been a number of reinforced wheels still in use ?
thanks

Elite Miniatures cannon models are amazingly awesome, particularly the French guns.
