On their news page….

I've just got the masters for an extension to the Highwaymen range – these are LOVELY (says he in a completely unbiased way!). We've done a Bow Street runners set with a couple of footpads to go with them, John 'Swift Nick' Nevison and a gang of three new highwaymen. Pics of the masters will be posted at the weekend.

Ooooh …

Outpost may not be a big name like Perry or Foundry, but they do some really nice, easy to paint figures.

Did you ever hear told of that hero,
Bold Nevison it was his name,
And he rode about like a brave hero,
And by that he gained a great fame,

Now when I rode on the highway,
I always had money in store.
And whatever I took from the rich
Why I freely gave it to the poor.

I have never robbed no man of tuppence
And I've never done murder nor killed.
Though guilty I've been all my lifetime
So gentlemen do as you please.

You are right Patrick they are very nice and paint up a treat, and highwaymen etc is something which I think is a great little genre for skirmishes

Oh, good. I hate sock puppets. grin

The best way to get an unbiased review from me is to send free samples. grin

I love that range, particularly the Duke of Marlborough being held up. grin

I had forgotten about this range. What do people do with them? Legends of the High Seas on land campaigns or maybe Gloire?

I like their figures I wish they would add some more civilians.

Yup thats what I would use or perhaps Gloire

Yes, I have used them for Gloire. They will also be random encounters in my Sedan Chair Racing game.

Hi Folks,

thanks for the support – I'm posting pics tomorrow (Sunday) and have just got some initial photos of painted versions of the Bow Street Runners set (5 figs).
I had hoped have more done, but time (and funds) ran out. We had not thought of a Sudan chair to be honest …. but are happy to listen to ideas for further figures in the range – feel free to send us a wish list :-)

The figures will be available from 6th April (my mould maker is on holiday at the moment) but can be pre-ordered for mail order or collection at Salute whenever you like.
Best Regards,
Jeff

There are not enough Sedan Chairs on the market right now. The lack of good models is, quite frankly, shocking.

But do the brakes work John????
Surely that is vital for any sedan chair?
