Who does make these 25/28mm figures for the europe theatre. No paratroopers but just the infantry |

Valiant Miniatures produce some great 25/26mm WW2 NWE figures. However, be advised that they are controversial due to the fact that they do not mix with standard 1/72 scale figs or 28mm figs. |

Black tree design Artizan designs Crusader Renegade Battlehonours 1st Corps BAM/warlord games Valiant are oversized 1/72nd scale, and probably fit neither 25/28 or 1/72 very well. Cheers |

My favourites would be Artizan and Crusader as they mix very well and are both very nice sculpts. BAM have a very good range but tend to be noticably smaller. I would avoid Black Tree for British as some of the sculpts are not nice. (Black Tree make very nice Russians and some nice Germans & Americans.) As said above Valiant are very nice sculpts and great value for money but unique in sizing – half way between plastic 1/72 and metal 28mm ranges. Mick |

I would recommend Crusader Miniatures British, I really like them and the go very well with BTD, Artizan. BAM is as said above small. Good luck! |

I'd disagree with BAM being small. My Artizan and BAM mix nicely thank you! Also check out the Curteys Korean War Brits – they are wearing the Mark 3 pattern helmet which will be suitable for D Day onwards. Guy |

Victory Force has a nice line of well sculpted and detailed figs in 28. Brits included. They are on the bigger side of "28" but mix well (enough) with most other lines of mini's. |

Crusader are the best in my opinion. I would avoid Black Tree Design until they sort out their customer service issues (see the Consumers Affairs board). |

Thanks for the information, will look first at the artizan/crusader ranges |

Boltaction (BAM) Range via Warlord Games, mix well with Crusader and Artizan. No problems with size etc. I would personally avoid black tree, or at least ordering from BTD, just do a search on here for the numerous failed/delayed orders threads and history to the issues. That said, if you can find the figures at a show or through other traders, they have some nice figures. I had some nice renegade figures too, but they are a bit more chunky than most of my others. But lovely sculpts. So there is a good range out there to choose from. Hope you find the ones you want. |

Another vote for Crusader, heres a link to the sdean forum of my recently painted Dorsets. The piat teams are from Artizan. I started with Black tree but then decided to ditch them, their more early war anyway with gas mark cases. link |

Thanks for the link, they're beautiful. Wish I could paint as good as you |

I painted a whole british company using BAM minis in 3-4 months. The key was Army Painting Strong Shade. BAM british infantry minis are really detailled and I feared that it takes ages to paint but with the shade it was perfect! The whole company link Olivier |

Crusader, Artizan and BAM. I have them all in my British company and they go together fine. |
