Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the Gatling guns used by the British used a standard artillery limber or had a unique limber? Thank you |

Just spotted this … and you may have answers by now, but I made this for my 1884 Naval Brigade, after doing quite a bit of research:
The figures and guns are Perry Miniatures, and the limber is based on their ACW plastic one, with wheels from the Gardner, the remainder scratch built. More on my blog: sandsofsoudan.blogspot.com/search/label/Gatling%20gun%20limber Cheers JJ

I used a standard limber for my Gatling. |

In the Sudan the limber and gun was hauled by the blue jackets, so it had to be a lighter design. Cheers JJ |
