I stumbled onto this the other day I was really quite interested in the gaming potentials of it.

I could see using it for terrain pieces, but there are voids in the chess pieces shown in the JPG link (pawn and the finished rook from the YouTube video) found to the right of the YouTube video (no sound, just a time-lapsed demo of the printer in action, printing a chess piece rook).

It would be a daunting task to build a printer, and then program it to print 3D items for your miniatures games. Still, it is a sign of the future. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Been watching this for a few years. They have really pushed the design and development in the last few years.

Although I will probably build one someday, I'm still thinking that building a table router is a lot more useful at the moment.
