Hello All:

Just a quick note to let you know that Republic to Empire, a set of Napoleonic rules from Beneath the Lily Banners creator Barry Hilton has arrived at Scale Creep Miniatures:

You can find a review here on TMP:

This is a large paperback book, full color thoughout.

Don't let the length of the rules fool you. In the first place, this book has some of the most exhaustive and detailed examples I've ever seen in a rule book. You will frequently get 2,3 or 4 full examples, walking through each step of a mechanic. Second, there are a lot of diagrams and eye candy. The rules themselves, if condensed to just the rules, would probably run just 25-30 pages.

Ditto on the Player card. It is exhaustive. With the card you would probably never need the rules, and it is well laid out.

This new rule book is priced at $42. USD

Regards,

Mark Severin
