I've bowed to my obsessive-compulsive impulses and collated a list of many (not all) Sci-Fi rules, with a short summary of each. Please come see and tell me what you think (other than that I need professional help).

Pretty handy so far. You might want to add a field for if the system contains a "figure builder" feature to allow custom units and such.

Wow, great work! Very handy.

While it's of course your blog and therefore your prerogative to choose what gets included, so far your list seems to present a rather limited sample. Summaries are a good idea of course.

Pretty good, though it'd be good if you could mark whether they are free or how much they cost, and shorten the turn descriptions (ege Igo-Ugo, etc)

To be fair, the guy does say that these are the rulesets which he legitimately owns; I have a fairly wideranging ruile collection, but I could probably not go too far beyond a dozen sets in any specific period.

An interesting collation of information, many thanks.

Or you could just go to boardgame.geekdo.com and do much the same.

I think it's a fine list. Thank you for your hard work, sir!

I too appreciate your hard work.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words.

@Dijit80: I've added free/pay as requested. The turn description rewrite may have to wait; I think it's reasonably short as is, plus that's really the meat of the summary.

@tnjrp: "so far your list seems to present a rather limited sample."

I'm open to suggestions!

It's updated now, with free/pay and new pretty pictures added!

@Dijit80,

Cool, I'll take a look at them. I haven't heard of them before; only summarized the ones I knew about, mostly from hearing about them here on TMP.

You could add Fantastic Worlds from Ratrap productions
link GAFDOZ from Killer B games and Chaos on Chronos from Blue Moon Manufacturing link
