I'm getting ready to run an RPG set in Heian Japan, and I'd like some table-dressing. I know I saw some paper terrain Japanese walls and some other buildings, but my search-fu is weak on this site. Can anyone help me out? |

Did you look on the paper board? I have some links to some pretty nice ones but they are on a flash drive I do not have with me right now. VR James Mattes |

There's a black and white building that I can't remember where I found it
An open-topped inn (you will might have to build your own roof) link A couple of paper dollhouses that could work: link link |

Amongst others this site has the Byodo-in Phoenix Hall and pagoda of Horyuji Temple both around in Heian times. The Byodo-in was close to two battles in the Genpei War. It's in 1/150 scale but you can alter the settings and paper sizes for bigger: link This "Asian Temple" isn't free like the others but is based on Japanese temples existing in this era in simplified form. It includes pagoda, central hall, gatehouse and wall sections and is scaled for 28mm minis: link setsuko from this board had some great ideas for DIY on his site: link |

They're a bunch of simple peasant homes, beautifully coloured. |

Here is a free paper castle and gate (sadly the temple is no longer available) papermodels.at |

I just had a look at them Jakar, and you're right. They are very nice! |

Ah, thanks, everyone. That temple is beautiful, but a bit more than I want to do for some tabletop dressing right now. The simpler stuff, like that MegaUpload link, should suit my needs for right now. You can *never* have too much terrain (even if it's still on the hard drive!) |

Let me second the mega upload link. I had to down load a converter as the file is in .rar but there are three or four differnt buildings and they are in 28mm scale, perfect match to Perry samurai. |
