I'm looking for a mini in large 28mm or there abouts. I'm not that familiar with minis of this time period, so I could use some help. It must have a jacket w/ epaulettes. I'd prefer it to already have tails, but I can add that later if I must. The Jacket should be open, no sashes. Shirt or vest should be as plain as possible. Pants and boots should be plain as well. Very little to no kit on back or belt. Prefer any sabres, etc easy to remove. Hands should be away from body for weapon swap. The only important detail about the head should be that it will be easy to remove from the body. Quality and pose are kind of important as this will be a character mini. Dramatic, but not outlandish. I've sifted through some Napoleonic command minis but not hit what I'm looking for. Could really use some input. |

I would look at the Perry 1815 and Carlist War ranges. There are a great number of figures there that would, from your description, fit the bill. |

Take a look at Suren "Willie" early Napoleonic range. Sorry I can't remember the name of the store in London that sells them. Bob Graham |

Redoubt Miniatures "Wellington in India" range might have what you need. link |

The officers from the Perry British Napoleonic plastic box come to mind – long or short tails as required, head variants. They only have one epaulette though (most officer figures will), and a sash besides. Plastic should facilitate conversion however. link (last two pictures bar the farmhouse kit) If these match your requirements, I might have a spare. |

An open jacket with epaulettes isn't easy to find, but take a look at the left-hand figure of the Perrys' FN21 Artillery crew (French 1815) link |
