I'm sure there must be better fodder out there for Sc-Fi gamers to consume than White Dwarf? Not to knock that publication, but why should I pay for a mag thats only going to give me 1 four page SF article in the whole mag that doesnt feature other companies minis!

Its been about 10 years since Ive had any wargames related mag subscriptions, so what out there for SF gamers that has:
mini reviews,
scenarios,
game reviews,
and lots of eye candy.

Yes, I know the easy answer is online magazines/ forums, but sometimes I prefer to get away from the computer and just get a good magazine in my hand to digest for a while.

Thanks for the input.

Well Fictional Reality was great, too bad December was their last month.

The only one that I can think of other than WD is the Ancible.

The Ancible seems to be shaping up nicely, 2 issues out so far and a third due soon……

NOT to be confused with Dave Langford's long-running SF newsletter/fanzine, Ansible.

Does anyone here know if the Fictional Reality archive is still moving to DungeonCrawler? On January 6th DC posted a message stating that the Ficitonal Reality archive would be hosted by their site. Now, two months later, I don't see any sign of it. link

Does TMP count? Most likely not…but I find just about everything I need here.

Magazines? Thing of the past. Webpages are the new magazines.

It is quite difficult to take my computer with me when I go to my In-laws…so as out of date magazines are, there are times when the old stuff is more practical…

I agree, there is definitely place for magazines still in gaming. I still prefer to read a book in my hand than online (Plus its a lot easier to take to the bathroom with me).
