Didn't want to hijack the other post, but the 28mm question got me thinking about this period as well. Manufacturers, photos, listings, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Resin is preferred, but info on scratch-building these would be useful too. Reasonably priced castles, and/or city walls for Italy, and the period would be great too, especially if they have round turrets. Square ones are okay too, but all of the really nicely done resin pieces I have seen require a low interest home loan from HUD to be able to afford them. I imagine providing info on the scale (15mm), and/or description of the dwelling on the loan application might raise eyebrows. |

JR Miniatures has the old Architectural Heritage line of Italian Buildings in 15mm: link Magister Millitum carries the old Ian Weekly ("Battleground") Italian Walls and castles in 15mm (scroll 3/4 of the way down the page): link

It's worth looking at Timecast link I know they are 10mm but they seem to work with 15mm. Always assuming you can paint better than I can link link link link link |

The Gamecraft components can be used to create reasonable buildings for the place and time, and are highly configurable. I also like buildings where I can put the troops inside. link |
