A few years ago I had an excellent shareware program designed to be used as part of a scrudded campaign. I am running an AWI campaign at present and want a simple program, with variables, in order for small combats to easily resolved, with details on casualties etc. I can't remember where I got the old one and I have searched tirelessly for it for the past two weeks. if anyone has any ideas at all where I might find it or a similar program I would be greatly appreciative of any info you may have!

Was it called "Berthier"?

"Was it called "Berthier"?"

Berthier is a campaign management program. As far as I am aware it doesn't do combat resolution.

Will McNally's rules come with a program for assisting in the game. It is a free rules set, available at freewargamesrules.co.uk

Berthier has a very simple combat resolution engine for resolving non-gamed campaign contacts. But it is probably too simple for your requirment.
