Who makes good artillery pieces for this period?
The TAG ones look pretty good.

Phillius27 Feb 2010 12:54 p.m. PST

Foundry, Old Glory.

Games Workshop.

Foundry has two guns in their Landsknecht range (with two different crews for each), and one gun in their conquistador range. Then there is one light gun in the Sea Dogs & Swashbucklers range, but that might be the same as the one in conquistador range (with different crew).

How many guns does TAG have for this period – I am aware of only one.

Yeah… what Greifbringer and Phillius said. Out of those selections, I like the Foundry guns the most.

TAG has one suitable for the early 16th Century (as Greifbringer stated):

Get all the guns from all the manufacturers. This is not Napoleonics. Variety is the spice of life. Have as many different looking guns as possible. The beauty of the Italian Wars period is the lack of standardization. I would use the TAG Ottoman gun as well. Checkout Redoubt.

Good point, Rich. I think Foundry's are the most "elegant" (if such a term can apply to artillery), but I have Redoubt and Old Glory. Oh yes and the obligatory Games Workshop model I picked up for $3.00 USD at the last Fall In convention. What the Bleeped text, I plan to use them all.
