Are there any sources of plastic pirate figures in the UK – at least 28mm in size, but 54mm would be even better?

Thanks in advance

GW Empire Militia figures can serve as pirates. They are multipart plastic and have lots of weapons and head options.

They are heroic 28mm, and I am sure they would be easy to find in the UK. wink

Forces of Valor had some available via Steve Weston and Andy Harfield but they seem to have all gone now.
How many are you after?
I have a large amount of 54mm pirates from a variety of makers that I am thinking of selling.

Thanks for both replies. Phil, I was thinking somewhere in the 20-40 range, depending on the figures and the prices of course.

barzso.com/pirates.html makes playsets containing 54mm pirates. Steve Weston plasticsoldiers.co.uk imports them but currently doesn't have them listed in stock. They may be a special order item. Also FIW/C17 figures may be useful; link contains figures who could pass for pirates.

I know you said plastic but "Dorset Soldiers" has unpainted white metal figures for pirates, boats, sailors, captains, marines etc.

They have options to buy them unpainted and also by individual parts (body/arms/weapons etc).

I have some old Marx, Ideal and Awesome Kids pirates, I will count them up, there are a couple of Awesome Kids ships, they are a bit stylised but still useable, I will see how many I have and get back to you.

Phil
