Does anyone make indians appropriate for the East Coast of the US, in either 15mm, or 25mm scales, e.g. Virginia, North Carolina, and other coastal areas north and south of there, for the 1700 – 1720's period?

It looks like I may be needing a small band of them, with primitive weapons, e.g. no Winchesters, if you please.

Manufacturers of dugout, or proper canoes will be helpful too.

While we're at it, why not add Greenland, or Alaskan Eskimos into the mix as well? Kayaks will be needed for them.

Not sure how far north you want to go, but here's a pretty good range for King Phillip's War (1675-76). Probably not too much difference in the 25 years between this war and the years you're looking for. Click on "products catagory" and select King Phillip's War from the drop down menu.

Not sure if you are interested in Plastics, IMEX makes a series of sets that might help in 1/72 (large 1/72 figures, about 26mm so they might work for 25mm although IMEX makes fairly realistic figure proportions so they don't always look good with metals). The parts (dugouts, shelters, etc…) are probably of more interest.

Redoubt also has a line from the French and Indian Wars (a little later than you noted, but…) and they have canoes, etc.

The Conquest 500 Nations line may have some that would be useful although most appear to be armed with mid 1700s flintlock muskets. link

Old Glory has packs of Woodland Indians armed with "melee" weapons. link

In 15mm Old Glory has packs of Northern Indians in the AmRev packs. They can be used for Southern tribes especially the Cherokee in the 1700s.
Their Southern Indian packs wear attire that did not become popular until the 1790s and early 18-00s. (head Turban and calico shirts).

We at War Eagle designs has just had a range of pre-Columbians done in 15mm but they would be too early for what you want. They wear little clothing and have pre-firearm weapons.
Chickasaw and Choctow tribes of the 1700s wore trqaditional feathers and head shaving.

RAFM make a number of American Indians for their FIW range in 25MM. Bows, Clubs, and Muskets.

Indians, Pirates…got a Peter Pan game coming up, Rob? Mmmmm, Julia Roberts was yummy as Tinkerbelle. I have a 28mm Princess Tiger Lilly figure for you. What are you doing for Lost Boys?

Thanks for all the input everyone.

Actually, no Peter Pan, but Blackbeard and his compatriots might have an encounter or two with the locals, who aren't necessarily friendly, for a little variety.

Cannibals are a bit overdone, but hostile indians with tomahawks and sharp pointy sticks might be rather fun, at least for some!
