If it's Osprey, the info will be split over a series of twelve books.

I hope that they have included the color reference for the The Chicken Suit zombie.

Can't wait to see how the Napoleonic Undead color plates are received on that forum.

Personal logo Bobgnar Supporting Member of TMP24 Feb 2010 7:10 a.m. PST

Does this cover just re-animated humans, or also infected creatures (rage and T Virus, for example) and humans taken over by outer space creatures, or other forms of human ailments that lead them to want to kill humans. Will there be differentiation between fast and slow zombies?

Ambush Alley Games24 Feb 2010 8:07 a.m. PST

Joe, the author of the book, is quite the zombiephile, so I'm willing to bet that most of the classic zombie bases will be covered . . . . WITH BLOOD!!!

;)

Sloppypainter24 Feb 2010 8:25 a.m. PST

Will there be a scenario/campaign book, too? "GranMa Betty's hill clan campaign of S. Georgia." How about a fortress series? "Boarded up/Barricaded rural houses of Illinois?"

M1Fanboy24 Feb 2010 12:29 p.m. PST

I told my wife this morning about this…she groaned and said this fad has gone too far. It beats emo vampires who sparkle all hallow though! I am interested to know what the color plates might look like!

Whoah.

From a company that refuses to cover many of the well-detailed and well-described SF forces in print?!?

Well … I guess it's a good move economically … evil grin Maybe they'll do the same for Star Trek & Stargate … I'd buy those ! Reminds me of when GHQ released Wehrmacht '47 … I thought it as a great idea ! But a lot of comments were made about all the "real" models that should be made instead of stuff that didn't make it off the drawing board or prototypes. I'm not a Zombie-phile, so it has me shaking my head a little bit too. But as I said, it may be a good economic move. Ya can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a couple of Zombie-philes ! evil grin

John the OFM25 Feb 2010 11:47 a.m. PST

I would not be surprised if it turned out to be one of their best sellers.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian25 Feb 2010 2:12 p.m. PST

"Zombies of the Waffen SS": wasn't something like that in the "Illuminatus" trilogy?

Steve Hazuka26 Feb 2010 6:18 p.m. PST

Hey who just hit me on the head with a dead cat? Quit swinging that thing!

Okay….I pre-ordered it….I feel dirty….and hungry.

Mehoy Nehoy21 Apr 2010 12:11 p.m. PST

It seems Osprey's solution to factual inaccuracies in their books is to dispense with facts altogether.

WombatDazzler22 Apr 2010 2:38 a.m. PST
