Armaments in Miniature has a nice, single piece, resin, 1/300 scale C-130 link . For some reason I couldn't quite get the paint job the way I liked it until the third try (I stripped the mini twice). I didn't make any modifications to the mini but it shouldn't be too hard to make different variants or to put some wheels on it. Kevin picture picture |

That's rather awesome. What's the wingspan in inches? |

Bill, the wingspan is about 5". I've already packed it away so I can't give you exact measurement. |

Eyeball-judging it from the pic at AIM's website, I'm guesstimating about 5 and a half inches max. Kevin, you did a great job with it, especially after stripping it twice! What kind of problems were you having to make you paint it over again? Whatever the problems, you definitely overcame them to create a quality little model. Thanks for sharing, Kevin! |

The exact wingspan is 5-1/2 inches or 14cm. |

Saginaw, it was one thing after another. The colors didn't look right, it was taking four and five coats of paint to get coverage, and I was leaving brush marks and ridges. Kevin |
