Very nice!! Are these Hot Wheels/Matchbox? Or larger?

Thanks Mike

They're a mix of Hotwheels and Maisto cars from the kids toy box, all around 1/64th scale or thereabouts.

:O)

Great work! The weathering is outstanding. One quick question – how do you prep them for paint? I saw the other entry about the base spray coating – but do you strip the original finish first? Really inspiring, thanks for sharing these.

Thanks

I just sprayed them black over the existing paint, nice and quick.

Great stuff mate.

I have been looking at doing some conversion kits for cars, but can not decide what scale to do.

AWESOME! Where did you get the guns?

boggler08 Feb 2010 12:34 p.m. PST

The guns are old Dark Future weapons that I picked up from ebay ages ago. They do crop up now and then and aren't that expensive if you're lucky.

Mike, I definately go for 1/64th Matchbox scale as it would be perfect for Car Wars, Axles and Alloys etc.
