Best new figure or new line. |

I'm going to vote for the Eastern Fantasy range from Cavalcade, that Troll is pretty kick butt for range. For single figure, I'd vote for the new Doombull from GW. |

Wait! Shouldn't you do both a category for best figure and a different category for line??? I'd have to agree with the general 2009 line of Red Box being the best new line (probably their Dwarves) or possible Otherworld's kobolds, or Darksword's GRRM, but there have been some really great individuals from other companies like Enigma, Freebooter, Tale of War, Darksword and Reaper. So, an additional Darksword nomination from me. Individual figures to follow. |

Splitting "best line" from "best individual figure" is a good idea, if Bill's willing to put in the extra effort. For best new figure I would also like to nominate Freebooter's new female dancer: link For best range I'll nominate Black Scorpion's fantasy pirates: link |

Yes, for all sorts of reasons, split best fig from line. For one big thing, how does one compare a single awesome 28mm figures to an entire line of smaller scale, and hopefully imaginative and useful as filling-a-gap, minis, none of which is likely to be as excellent as the larger sculpt. |
