Felids- thriced. I could say Space Demons too, but, they're not as original as the Felids are. Seconded only by Critical Mass' Protelene Khanates. Although, the Protelene as a mini line is filled out a little more than the Felids. The Cats only have one squad type available while the Dogs have several squad types in addition to some nice walkers on the way. |

Anything thats not 15mm as they should have done it in 28mm instead! :-) (just because I can't afford to change scale at the moment, not because they aren't nice) |

So do they have to be released in 2009 or prior to this poll? I ask because I love Spartan Game's new Sorylian fleet and it gets my nomination, if its elligible. |

15mm: Rebel Minis SF lines (all 3!) 28mm: I'll have to doublecheck, as I think the ALEPH faction from infinity was a 2010 release, but if they were '09
Otherwise, I'll have to vote for the Kempeitai. |

Define "new"? Do the new Space Wolves from GW count? If so, the basic squad box, Space Wolves Pack – link , is great, and has a plethora of extras. |

Any of the 15mm SciFi that was released this past year. I can't afford 28mm as they have gotten out of control with there prices. Noel |

I like the GZG 15mm New Israeli range, but it may have been around for a bit longer than the last year. The Rebel Minis Earth Force Marines are quite nice, as are the Khurasan Garn. I also really like RAFM's re-release of their 15mm astronauts with guns. These certainly seem to be holding their own in terms of excellent sculpting, and overall attractiveness, despite their age. |

I think GZG's Ixx were 2008 releases. I nominate the GZG 15mm Crusties. |

Perhaps break it down into scales Bill? Hard to get as much detail on a 15 as on a 28, and even harder still on a 6. Those seem to be three major wargaming scales, though for historical 10 seems fairl popular too (I play acw in 10mm). Gets more manufacturer's recognition too! Just a thought

A lot of great miniatures were released in 15mm Sci Fi last year. There are some excellent choices above. For sheer RANGE of miniatures and dedicated support, plus upping the stakes when it came to figure animation, my choice falls to GZG's resculpted NAC Marines. Packs SG15-A7 to SG15-A12 NAC infantry, command and a variety of infantry support weapons. Plus SG15-A18 NAC Seated. Packs SG15-A13 to SG15-A17 NAC Heavy Weapons V15-65A – Armed Mini-Mule with NAC Crew V15-67A – Mini-Cargo Mule with NAC Driver V15-74A – ACAV with NAC crew V15-73A – Heavy Autocannon with NAC Gunner V15-75A = NAC Trikes A coherent and flexible line of miniatures which allows the gamer to build skirmish, platoon or higher level forces with various support options, with minimal duplication of key figures (eg leaders, SAWs etc). Cheers Mark |

A yes, the Crusties. How could I forget them? Agreed. With the resculpted NAC troops a close second. I really like the Garn too. |

Critical Mass Games' ARC Fleet line of Heavy Drop Troopers, Light Recon Troopers, and Rifle Infantry. Plus the ARC Fleet Mk.I and Mk.II Heavy Grav Tanks and all of the ARC Fleet Combat Walkers. An honorable mention goes to GZG for their newest additions to the New Israeli faction. |

"I like the GZG 15mm New Israeli range, but it may have been around for a bit longer than the last year." Thanks for the mention, TGA, the new-sculpt NI are certainly 2009 releases – they were launched mid-October, just in time for SELWG. Jon (GZG) |
