With regrets, I must announce that the sale has been cut short. The response for the dials havs burned out all of my stock. With over 750 sold, I didn't expect the response to be this huge. And for that, I thank you all. More stock has been ordered and should be here shortly. Since I've cut the sale short by two days, I will have another 2 day sale once I have the stock levels built back up again. Rest assure that any order placed will be filled and shipped within the next 24-48 hours as usual My apologizes in having to do this, but it's just not how I do business. I'm sure I will catch hell over this but I will not advertise and sell something I don't have in stock and force you, my guest, to have wait 7-10 days before I can get it to you. That's just bad retailmanship in my book. I do hope you understand. Sincerely, Steve "The Dial Dude" the-d-d.net |

Never heard of you or those things before. Those are pretty cool! |

I was the same way, I had never seen Steve's site before and the sale drew my attention to it and I placed an order late yesterday. That also means I am one of the folks that made this end faster than planned, so sorry to those that missed out. The concept is very cool and I think has a lot more potential. Looking forward to my dials and thinking of more ways to use these. Jeff |

Unless the sale was billed as "while supplies last" it would be better "retailmanship" to honor the sale dates and simply tell the customers ordering that there will be a greater than usual delay to restock. |

I had not seen this site before, very interesting stuff. The numbered generic dials have use in many games. I would like to see a plain dial, with no preprinted text in the bottom part. Then players could make up their own with orders appropriate to their games. Also if no preprinted flags, could the price be cheaper. 72 cents is pretty cheap as is, however. |

Bede, I can see your point. But which would you rather have : 1. Know that you are going to have your product with 96 hours of ordering it (barring sunday and holidays for shipping), or 2. Pay for something and wait for up to 10-14 days for it to arrive? I can do either, I just know how I hate to wait for anything (impatient person that I am) when I order something. I do see your point though, really. Not knocking you (or anyone for that matter), I just want my guest/customers happy is all. And I've seen the results of what delayed shipping can do to a company. One negative comment can cripple a small operation like myself. Bob (and his dog), I can do just about anything. I can change the inside of the dial to say anything that you want (remember though the more letters the smaller the print). I've done that for an order for Angel Barracks for their gaming system. I can also change the outside of the dials to a flag, plain color, camo pattern, etc in the matter of minutes to accomodate any player/game/era. I've done this for several customers in the orders that I've taken over the past few days. Thanks, Steve |

I've done that for an order for Angel Barracks for their gaming system. He has and I am very pleased with the level of service received thus far.

Pay for something and wait for up to 10-14 days for it to arrive? I'd rather not get shut out of a sale that was announced as lasting until Friday by seeing it instead closed on Tuesday. Then if I was told that because of the stock problem I would have to wait 10-14 days for delivery I'd be fine. In my experience people are fine with most everything as long as you tell them what you're going to do and then do it. |
