I am always impressed (and inspired) with the way you guys can come up with what seem to be entirely different figures, from just changing the head on a Kroot figure. Has anyone come up with any interesting conversions lately, using Kroot bodies/parts? Thanks. Dan TMP link TMP link link link |

Wow. Maybe I'll try doing something similar . . . removing the crest, I mean. It really helps in getting away from the parrot look. And, if I filled in the irregular edge on the mouths with putty, I might actually make them more reptilian-looking. picture What do you think? Dan |

I like the parrot look. In fact, if I ever get around to finishing them, I'll have a unit of parrotmen of Venus for my 25mm VSF games. Way too tall for the 15s, of course. My only conversion of them is painting them like actual parrots rather than like Kroot. Not very well painted, mind you. Sadly. Probably part of the reason I haven't moved forward with the project. |

Thanks for bringing this up. I hadn't seen the earlier kroot-mods. Kroot are one of the better things that GW has given us. A unique, (fairly affordable in plastic) easily customizable, race with many gaming uses. |

Someone recently posted pictures of using kroot arms & rifles on GW skinks. At least a little krooty. |

Amalric, WOW!!! Dark elf arms??? And here I was about to ask how you got the Kroot hands to wrap so well around the weapons! That is certainly inspiring. Thanks. Dan |

Black Cavalier, I posted my Kroot Armed Skinks here; TMP link CC, Yeah the dark elf arms have the right heft to them. I tried ork arms first, but the orc arms were way too bulky. Amalric |
